Hi,

I got a project and completed it successfully, but now I get a chat notification showing "Client is currently restricted from this conversation". What is this? I just completed the project and didn't even do anything that was against the policies.

I have attached the notification, you can view it as well. Upwork can also view the chat history.

When you see this, it is because the client has been restricted due to an issue with their account. We won't be able to share the details of the decision for privacy reasons. You can check this article for general reasons why our Trust & Safety team may take action on an account.
