Invite only

Hello fellows

I am new to Upwork, I have seen a difference in two jobs poprosals I submitted. As attached pic you can see there is written text "invites only". While with othe three proposals I sbmitted I could not see this. So do not understand what does it means. 
Can body guide me ?

You cannot see "invites only" job as default. Sometime client adding public job, receiving lot of spam then changing to "invites only". You can apply "invites only" only with invite answer (if invited).

I met the same issue. When I submitted the proposal ,the job is public. After few minutes, the job changed to Invite only. Can the client still saw my proposal? If not, can the connects be refunded as the client change the job status? 

I think I can deliver the project with my expertise.
