How to hire somebody else to a contract

I have a contract that was ended by an individual that I hired. It was due to some scoping issue so that the freelancer had to resign. I have the contract opened with the first milestone funded (in the escrow).

I found another freelancer to do the job, but how can I hire someone new to the contract?

Hi Peter,

You have to create a fresh contract with the new freelancer. Unless it's an agency with different members, you can't add a new freelancer to the old contract.

You can close the previous contract and the money in escrow is automatically released to your billing method in a week or so.
