Looking for a little help.

I'm a little new to the freelance community but I've been programming over 10 years I'm just looking for a little spot light. Any profile reviews will help thanks!

Kristopher,

Welcome to Upwork.

Ten years of programming is experience is great; you can do a lot of things as a freelancer. Unfortunately, your profile does not have enough information to convince clients to hire you as a freelancer. To make your profile more appealing to clients, you must focus on three things:

1) Tell clients which specific services you provide (e.g., software development, coding/programming, etc.)

2) Talk about your experience providing these services and/or your capability to provide the services, and why it matters (e.g., your services will improve W, streamline X, fix Y, enhance Z, etc.)

3) Tell clients the value you bring and why they should hire you.

Clients come to Upwork with specific needs and they look for freelancers who can meet those needs and get results. There are thousands of programmers here, so clients need legitimate reasons to spend their money to hire you.

Since you are new to Upwork, you need to start with the basics. The best way to complete your profile is to go through the following Academy Courses and other resources:

Good luck!
