Need Help, Fraud case

I recently received an invitation for a project, and the client initiated communication with me on for a faster chat. However, he didn't hire me on Upwork, reassuring me not to worry about payment. When the project was completed, he blocked me from all communication channels. 

Now, I'm sharing my experience here with a sense of disappointment. Please be cautious; don't get overly excited just because you got the job and trust the client.

Is there anything that can be done in such cases to recover the payment? ( بھاگتے چور کی لنگوٹی ہ صحیح)

It is your own mistake given your contact details before the project been awarded. It is a pure violation of ToS of Upwork.

Yes, agree. this is my mistake. But I learned that do not contact outside the upwork. Biggest mistake.

Disappointed with the loss.

Can this guy be connected to setup meeting on upwork ?

Forget about that. Not possible. Report that post and move on.

If Upwork wont take action on your profile for the violation, you are lucky.

And delete those personal details and screenshot in the above message as it is again a ToS violation.
