Greek VAT question

Hi, I would appreciate some help, especially from the Greek community, as it pertains to VAT. In Greek, VAT is referred to as φπα. The simple question is: do Greek freelancers pay VAT at 24% when invoicing Upwork as a freelance small business for the money we receive from Upwork?, not the tax i know i have to pay tax but not sure for VAT, I haven't opened the business yet, so any feedback is welcome. Thank you.
