Concerns About Upwork Connects: Unresponsive Clients and Wasted Connects

Some jobs on Upwork are not getting any response from clients, even after we've used our purchased connects to apply for them. It feels like we've paid for something but received nothing in return. On average, 30% to 40% of jobs are like this. I believe Upwork should refund our connects if clients don't hire any freelancer

Hello Annie,

 

  1. About 30% to 40% of clients don't hire after posting a job. It's a complete waste of hard-earned freelancer connects.
  2. We often see the same job posted multiple times by clients, which is another waste of freelancer connects.

We don't have an issue with Upwork's business model, but could there be some rules and ethics in place to address this?
