Why video introduction is needed

Hello freinds.

Today I want to talk about video introduction.

As I follows the job posting. Many of them are now asking for vedio introduction. Why is it so? Does the profile don't tell you everything necessary for you to know about that person before you give him a job. 
Think it in that prespective. Everyone is not equally abled(disabled). 

I know for some jobs its very necessary. But I just want to talk about this trend....
